So, not everybody who lives or travels in Moab likes to crack climb or place gear. Since the amount of sport climbing in the desert is more limited, bouldering is a good option. However, finding a concentration of good bouldering can also be tricky. This is where Big Bend fits in to your scenario.

WHY BIG BEND?
  • No more than 15 minutes from town
  • 30 seconds from the parking area
  • High concentration of Wingate boulders (the hardest sandstone is Wingate)
  • Variety of problems: easy or hard, crimpy or jugs

    • If bouldering is your thing or if you simply need a quick fix without a long drive, then definitely look towards Big Bend. Locals have been bouldering here for years, so the rock is cleaned up on all well traveled problems.
