Indian Creek! This is it for crack climbing... you're not gonna find anywhere else where having crack climbing skills is so necessary. The cracks here are so perfect that sometimes you'll need the same sized cam for dozens of feet and there are tiny fingertip cracks all the way up to perfectly parallel chimneys. Finding sun or shade is usually not hard since there are walls that face just about every direction. Most of the climbing is one pitch long, however, there are some routes that are two or more pitches. And some of the one pitch routes can be loooonnnngg. This is often endurance climbing too, as one jam might not be so hard, but after 50ft of the same jam, people start to get creamed. For tower or multi pitch climbing, check out the Bridger Jack Spires as well as the North and South Six Shooter. North Six Shooter is a classic summit with a stellar route in the 5.11 range. The Bridger Jacks offer a variety of routes and 8 individual summits with moderate to hard climbing. On some occasions, a slackline is rigged between two of the taller summits. In such a beautiful place we must take note that we are only visitors in this magical land and must respect the local's, whether that be the cowboys or the crypto soil we must respect this place and treat it like its our own mothers living room. With all the new traffic, coming to experience all Indian Creek has to offer there are now more and more access issues that we as a group need to attend to. Please get informed and take action and help save this special place for other generations to enjoy long down the road.
